I love studying illustration at Edinburgh College of Art because it constantly challenges me to experiment and developmy work and get the maximum benefit from my time at the College.

Research is an important part of the illustration course, helping to develop ideas and make my illustrations more convincing and exciting and a better support for the text. You never know what you might have to research: anything from library research to a vegetable to a toy. Edinburgh is just the right size and students are encouraged to use the city as a source of inspiration. I love Scotland and my English has improved immeasurably.
