朴次茅斯大學 University of Portsmouth 我也要點評

I am studying BA (Hons) Spanish and Latin American Studies. I chose this course because I have always been interested in Latino culture. The diversity of tasks and study methods is really good - I get to know not only the language but the culture, politics and history as well.

The course is varied and very helpful. If you have any problems of an academic nature you can count on a number of departments to help - like the Academic Skills Unit and the English for Academic Purposes programme. I haven't experienced all the facilities yet - I can't wait to use the language labs! The lecturers are great and really helpful. The University gives plenty of opportunities for its students such as additional language classes (for free) and placements abroad.

My leisure time is spent watching movies and meeting with friends. I love going to the beach and doing all kinds of sports. I belong to the University's motorbike club and previously attended the volleyball club. Portsmouth is very nice, especially in the summer and in sunny weather. It's not too big or too noisy but there is still quite a lot going on. The things I like best about being here are the variety of people and cultures at the University, the location of Portsmouth and being well positioned to go to other countries without major difficulties. The only things I don't like are the window stoppers in the halls of residence and that the halls are very empty during breaks and holidays. It is also expensive for a student to live in the UK.
