Northeastern University is a private research university at Boston, and a leader in interdisciplinary research and urban engagement. I communicated with my departmental program advisor in the college and came to know abt the research progs conducted there. Though I had applied to 13 colleges and received admits from 9, NEU was my 1st choice. After my UG I took up classes of programming languages like C,C++ ,VB and also operating systems like Linux at a private institute. It was like a preparatory step before I started my Masters abroad. All the best !

My visa was issued at the Mumbai consulate. I got thro very easily. I would advise all of you not to carry any digital stuff especially watches. Dont worry about the interview ......just be calm and keep smiling.

I used my family funds for my education as I did not get the scholarship.

I enjoyed my time in the city. Boston has a strong sense of cultural identity and one could mingle among the people and absorb their culture. The climate is fairy OK though it can get a bit chilly during the winters.

There are good job opportunities once you get your Masters.
