My objective is to seek a leadership role where my expertise in data analytics including algorithm development, modeling and simulation and quantitative analysis can be used to develop innovative solutions. On completing my masters in Mechanical Engineering at the Rice University, I enrolled for a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution.

Though I had already completed my masters in India at IIT, I enrolled for a masters program at Rice. On its completion I took up my PhD. There were no problems regarding my selection to the university.

I was awarded RA by the university.

My dissertation was titled, A Wavelet-based Numerical Scheme for Stochastic Mechanics. Professor Pol D. Spanos and L.B. Ryon guided me throughout my program. I have had varied experiences working as a Senior Software Engineer, Project Engineer, Doctoral Candidate and Research Assistant while at the university. Fields of Study were in Continuum and Stochastic Mechanics, Wavelets and Numerical Methods for PDEs. I had the opportunity to publish extensively while at the university.
