I wanted to experience the difference between my home country and England. Studying abroad is a great opportunity for me to broaden my horizons as well as to discover a different culture.

The people on my course were really nice and always gave their helping hand, but the thing I liked most about my course was how the teachers always encouraged students to participate in discussions and to actively answer questions. This type of study atmosphere influenced me a lot during my time at the University of Cumbria. Students in Hong Kong are sometimes shy to answer questions during classes and the size of the class sizes are a lot bigger than at Cumbria. The small class sizes at Cumbria really enable students to have more opportunities to participate in classes and teachers can give more attention to each and every student.

There were many chances to explore the UK and I traveled a lot during my stay. For example, I visited London, Luton, Oxford, Manchester, Liverpool, Bath and Bristol and I also went up to Scotland. I really enjoyed my stay at the University of Cumbria.
