I believe that the skills and knowledge which I will make at Stafford would help me to become a good educated person when I come back to my home country. Stafford-upon Avon College has it all - great teaching and learning, a beautiful location, and a degree that really opens doors in the employment market.

During my foundation year, my academic ability improved significantly. Courses were well designed and suited for me as an international student. The academy supported me in my daily life by providing help in various ways - tutorial and academic English support, visa extensions, police registration, UCAS application and more. College staff were always helpful.

I was a business student on the Higher Education Foundation Programme (HEFP) 2005-06. Although I was a top student in China, I still did not meet the British higher education criteria when I entered the International Academy. However following my year of intensive study I gained five distinctions. I am now studying Economics at the University of Warwick. Due to my solid foundation, I can manage my studies better and have been predicted a good mark at the end of my degree. I have joined several societies at Warwick and I am working for the Chinese Students and Scholars Association. Thanks to the International Academy, I am confident of my future career.
