The California State University, Long Beach is an urban, public university and is a part of the California State University system. It was established in 1949 and is located at Long Beach, California. The university comprises of nearly 37,000 students and 2,100 staff members. The various departments available at the university include arts, business administration, education, engineering, health and human sciences, liberal arts, natural sciences and mathematics.
