Founded in 1854 Central Methodist University is a private institution, accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Universities. Currently around 3,500 students are enrolled in the university. The 'main' campus of the University is located in Fayette, Missouri. The university awards Bachelors degree, Masters degree and pre-professional programs. The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences offers a large number of undergraduate programs of study whereas the College of Graduate and Extended Studies offers Graduate Programs in Education, Clinical Counseling and Nursing.
