The Lubbock Christian University was established in 1957 by the members of the Churches of Christ to teach students the spiritual dimension of life and provide a quality education. It is a private institution located in Lubbock, Texas. The university grants bachelors and masters degrees. Various academic programs are offered via the Department of Communication and Fine Arts, Education, Humanities, Business Administration, Kinesiology, Physical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Nursing, Organizational Management, Biblical Studies, Behavioral Sciences, and Social Work and Criminal Justice.
