Mercyhurst College was founded in Erie, Pennsylvania, by the Sisters of Mercy in 1926. The total student enrollment is 3080. The college operates out of the main campus, a second campus in scenic North East and a third one at Mercyhurst West, Girard. The college offers undergraduate, graduate and adult programs and awards masters and bachelors degrees as well as teacher certificates, associate and pre-professional degrees.
