The University of North Texas (UNT) is a student-centered public research university and the flagship of the UNT System. With 12 colleges and schools, and more than 36,500 students, UNT is one of Texas's largest universities. Our growing global community includes 2,600 international students from more than 121 countries. UNT students receive a quality education at an affordable cost. The university offers 97 bachelor's, 101 master's and 48 doctoral degree programs in a wide range of subject areas including engineering, arts and science, music, business and languages. The University is located in Denton, forty miles north of Dallas/Fort Worth.
