The University of Phoenix, founded in 1976, is a private university offering more than 100 degree programs at more than 200 locations, as well as internet curriculum in several foreign locations. A total of 397,700 students are enrolled at different campuses of the University of Phoenix. The University’s Colorado campus – Turnpike Learning Center is located in Westminster, Colorado. Its degree programs, which are designed for adult students, include courses on business and management, education, human services, and technology among others. The master’s programs are offered on criminal justice and security, education, and nursing and health care among others.
