Waynesburg University is a private university founded in 1849. It operates out of the main campus at Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, and three off-campus adult centers in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. Currently 2,400 students are enrolled in the undergraduate, graduate and professional adults programs. The most popular courses are in the fields of Business, Communication, Education, Sciences (as in Nursing) and Law. Graduate and Doctorate programs also offered. Majors like Forensic Science, Forensic Accounting, Forensic Computing, Forensic Chemistry, Marine Biology, Nursing, Media Ministry, International Mission and Athletic Training are offered.
