Westfield State College

Westfield State College was founded in 1839 as a public college, which began in Barre, Massachusetts to provide teachers for the common schools of the mid-nineteenth century. It currently enrolls around 5,500 students. Programs offered are in the fields of Business, Communication, Criminal Justice, Education and Psychology. The Division of Graduate and Continuing Education offers bachelors degrees, post-baccalaureate teacher certification and also masters degrees in Education, Criminal Justice, Psychology, English and Public Administration.
