The University of Nottingham is a public research university located in the city of Nottingham, England, with further campuses in Ningbo, China and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was founded in 1881. The University is divided into 5 faculties and is home to over 30,000 students. The University of Nottingham offers over 400 degree programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including taught (BA/BSc etc, MA/MSc) and research (MPhil, PhD) degrees, in Arts and Humanities, Education, Engineering, Law & Social Sciences (including the Business School), Medicine and Health Sciences and Sciences.
