The Morehouse School of Medicine is a private medical school that was established in 1975 and is located in Atlanta, Georgia. Annually around 272 students enroll in the MD, PhD and MPH programs offered by the school. The academic programs are offered via the departments of Anatomy and Neurobiology, Community Health/Preventive Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Medical Education, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Immunology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Pharmacology & Toxicology, Physiology, Psychiatry and Surgery. The school also grants a first – professional degree in medicine.
